The upright Leica multiphoton and confocal fluorescence microscope is equipped with a pre-compensated infrared laser (Insight DS+ Dual from Spectra Physics) for non linear fluorescence excitation and second harmonics generation as well as with a white light laser for single photon excitation.
The 4 channel tuneable non-descanned DIVE detection unit allows for unprecedented spectral flexibility in multiphoton experiments.
Six FLIM enabled HyD detectors together with the fast FALCON FLIM implementation allow for highly efficient multidimensional FLIM imaging in confocal as well as multiphoton operation.
