Multiphoton Microscopy

The Leica multiphoton microscope allows imaging of thick samples using two- and three-photon fluorescence excitation. An additional confocal detection path together with the possibility of supercontinuum visible excitation allows very flexible experiments.

The custom-built multiphoton microscope allows highly flexible in-vivo imaging with deep tissue penetration and very good optical resolution. A state of the art laser system allows the excitation of fluorophores all over the visible spectrum.
